We have an Outback 4.4 kw Solar PV system that is on/off grid with Outback components and LG solar panels. So “on the grid” we sell our excess solar energy to Excel and receive a check each month from them. Or with a flip of a switch, the house can operate totally off grid, producing it’s own electricity from solar power. There is also an impressive back-up battery system to store solar power for off-grid needs. We also have a KVAR Power Factor Optimizer Capacitor system and 90% LED’s throughout the house to further reduce the power needs.
Other energy saving features include Pella double pane windows throughout the house, 7-zone central boiler radiant heat, 2-zone AC, ceiling fans in every bedroom and living room.Property Description

There is a separate outdoor garden that is approximately 90 feet by 20 feet and is all organic. The current vegetable varieties include We have acorn squash, zucchini, yellow squash, pumpkins, cucumbers, soy beans, green beans, tomatoes, swiss chard, white and red potatoes, sunflowers and giant sunflowers, asparagus, carrots, collard greens, butter lettuce, turnips, beets, brussel sprouts, onions, leeks, chives, cantaloupe, and watermelon.
All seeds used in the greenhouse and vegetable garden are heirloom and organic, non-GMO, giving you a perpetual garden!
No pesticides, insecticides, fungicides or herbicides have been used on the property or in the house for any purposes.
