The architectural style of the home - dual domes - allows for efficent use of natural recources. The house lies lightly on the landscape - blending with the surrounding gardens and natural woodland. The property was constructed using almost no particle board with its harsh chemicals - something rare in modern construction.

Neighborhood Description

This property is located about one mile from Stockbridge - a town of about 2000 people, and 10 miles from Chelsea, an afflunent town with about 10,000 people. The historic village of Stockbridge is home to an active arts council and many small businesses. The only chain business is a recently built McDonalds. A brand new, state-of-the-art elementary school opened last year. The property is entirely private - no other home is visible the windows of the house.

The property is located 30 minutes from Ann Arbor, home to U of M and voted one of the most cosmopolitian small cities in America. Thirty five minutes in the other direction is the state capitol - Lansing.
