Look up and see the Milky Way and a vast array of stars.
The area is one of great western history and legendry. Close by, for example, is the site of the Wham Paymaster Robbery of 1889, a famous stagecoach robbery immortalized in a painting by Frederick Remington. In addition, the Santa Teresa Mountains were part of the historic homeland of the Apache who have a long tradition of knowledge of the area. This is also the location of Holdout Canyon where Old West outlaws used to seek refuge after committing their shenanigans.
Water for this property comes from a private well which pumps water into a 2,500 gallon cistern for storage.
