The house is in the Lower Las Colonias area which is approximately 6 miles west of the town of Taos.
Taos is a tourist destination nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It is 90 minutes north of Santa Fe and 2.5 hours from Albuquerque, with an international airport. It is known for its year round outdoor activities, skiing, river rafting, hiking, climbing and fishing. The town abounds with art and cultural events, excellent restaurants and a great music scene.
