Neighborhood Description

Quiet suburban area in a small Canadian City. Not much action weekdays after 9.30PM downtown, except perhaps in the pubs.

Market Area

Access to numerous large stores. In the summer there is a weekly 'Farmer's Market' where locally grown food is sold. This home is only about 20 blocks from the market area, park, and downtown. There is only a small 'Downtown area" and they block off a couple of Downtown streets in the summer to make it more of a holiday type atmosphere.

School District

Three blocks from the main city regular type schools.


There is a Civic Centre and Swimming pool, playing fields, roller board practice area, Movie house, parks, rental gardens, etc., etc. and about seven small churches and lots of easily joined private groups.

They have a 'Rockfest' for a week or so every year. Lots of stuff going on in the Community halls but we don't involve ourselves and have little knowledge of all their details.
