This is a rural area with few neighbors 15 km south of Samara, Costa Rica and 30 km from Nosara. The property is located at the base of the Nicoya Peninsula. This area is known as the Blue Zone of Costa Rica. A Blue Zone is a region where residents live extraordinarily long and healthy lifespans. Scientists have been studying Blue Zones for decades and have only identified 5 Blue Zones on Earth.

The setting is a box canyon with two small creeks that border the property and waterfalls that you can hear from the house. House:
The living quarters include 3 structures connected by covered walkways. The 2-Story main house features an open air flow living room, dining room, and kitchen on the top floor with a garage, tool room, and a large storage area below (each at 1100 sq ft). The kitchen is fully supplied with all of the amenities and top line appliances. All furnishings will transfer with the sale. Also included are a complete workshop of tools and equipment.
On the lower level, the Master Suite and Guest Suite offer modern decor each one with a walk in closet. The bathrooms and outdoor showers connect to the terrace with spectacular views of the jungle. Both bedrooms are furnished with high quality furniture and maximum airflow allows the rooms the stay cool and dry.
The water is sourced from a deep well providing pristine pure water. Excellent water pressure. Irrigation system in place to help maintain a beautiful yard.

This is a tranquil and relaxing environment and community. I moved here 3 years ago from the United States and this experience has proven to be the adventure of a lifetime. The people in this area are very friendly and welcoming. The residents around here are simple folks that are content with rural living. The low population combined with food availability, year round growing capabilities and the fishing is spectacular; this is one of the best places for survival in a complex world... clean air, clean water, and healthy food grown locally.
