As stated above, this is a Green and Healthy home. It is an ecologically friendly house an underground water well supplies the tap water, rainwater from the roof top is also collected and can be used for gardening or car washing. A Wind Power Generator produces the electricity, although the house is also wired for receiving municipal energy. It is equipped with a solar water heater. A sky light window provides the illumination needed during the day/afternoon for the dinning room, living room and kitchen, which helps save energy. There is no need for air conditioning because the cross ventilation of fresh air is perfect. A firewood oven on the terrace helps save energy if you wish to bake. Part of the 1,600sq ft of land contains organic plantain trees as well as various other types of fruit trees. The only pest control used on it is biodegradable.Property Description
Live on a breazy hilltop overlooking nature surrounded by silence... or just get away for a while in your tropical island home. Our home is Green and Healthy and it is in excellent conditions. A stroll downhill will take you to the nearest neighbors. Although it is such a cozy place to be uphill that you might prefer to stay there. The 'Uninterupted Panoramic View' is just breath taking and the environment up here is very peaceful. As for the house There is no need for air conditioning because the cross ventilation of fresh air is perfect, in other words 'it is very airy.' Its main attraction is the dinning room. There is a sky light window over the entire dinning room which provides it with 'Natural Day Light' that also flows out illuminating the living room and kitchen. Lunch under the clear blue sky during the day or dine under the stars at night. (comfortably fits a table for 8) The kitchen is spacious and it can be accessed from to the driveway. This is very convenient when unloading the groceries from the car. It also has a kitchen island with a built-in stove top (gas). The house is completely tiled with terracota tiles. The windows have built-in shutters for shade or more privacy. The roof is designed to collect rainwater. All in all, it has two (2) spacious bedrooms both with walk-in closets. There are two (2) full bathrooms, a living room, a dinning room and a large kitchen. The home is equipped with a washing machine, a gas dryer, a gas stove top and a refrigerator. The property has 1,600sq.ft were organic plantains can be picked for that special tropical recipe. And fresh organic fruits can be plucked off the trees on the property for making cool smoothies or just for a quick refreshing snack. A hamock can be hung out on the nearby terrace for leisure time or you can set a table for entertaining guests. A storage area and a firewood oven (good for baking fresh bread,muffins,etc.), are also found on the terrace. The property has a small barn where medium/small sized animals can be kept such as lambs and hens. We have truely enjoyed living here. Much effort and care has gone into making it 'our haven' and we hope that the new owners will feel the same. Location In a rural area within the municipality of Corozal, Puerto Rico... a Common Wealth State of the United States... not a third world country. Neighborhood Description
This is a quiet friendly neighborhood. The houses here are few and they are scattered out apart. The next door neighbors are at the bottom of the hill; making it one of the most private houses in the area. It is not isolated, but it is a 'very peaceful home'.Market Area
