What makes your home a Green or Healthy Home?

Main lodge, built in 1971 with 2 x 6 frame construction on full foundation insulated with fiberglass by new owners in 2003. Anderson insulated windows throughout. Carriage house, added in 2007, has sip construction with rigid insulated panels and has hydronic radiant heat fired by a high efficiency propane furnace. Both buildings receive passive solar benefit from direct southern orientation facing the pond. Electricity is provided by arrays of solar panels. New battery bank was installed last year. A back up propane generator makes this home habitable year round.
