It has southern exposure and 2x6 construction, with great insulation
complete with housewrap. Windows are double paned, low-E. As a result fuel bills are very low.
The house also has a very energy efficient Aquatherm furnace resulting in low fuel consumption and is supplemented with a wood burning Vermont Castings fireplace known for their wonderful fuel efficiency.
