Many raise Horses or cattle and a large number have chickens. This is a neighborhood of like minded people who are independent, but willing to band together if the need arises. We are the kind of town that turns out for local parades, support or law enforcement, raise our families and get on with our lives.Market Area
Snowflake is a warm welcoming community with a strong sense of preparedness. We have our own emergency response teams. Local wonderful schools and a variety of churches. We have 3 grocery stores, one of which is a smaller Walmart store, but the local vendors are strongly supported. You meet just about everyone at the local swap meet on Saturdays of any one of the many craft fairs that run during the summer months. We also have a variety of medical services available if the need should arise.School District
We have our own school system, which support the Snowflake and Taylor communities. The town really turns out for the kids activities. We have a community college campus, located in Snowflake and a ASU Campus in Show Low, just 20 miles away. Our schools have K-12 with a 8 out of 10 rating.
